Our goal at Elevated Therapeutics is to offer services outside of school for children with autism. We strive to help our clients achieve life goals through the use of naturalistic environmental training and generalization of skills. A day at our center is divided into two parts in order to amply provide for our community: first, with our morning Classroom Readiness Program intended for children before they enter school, followed by our afternoon ABA Services for school-aged children.
First Taste is a state-funded program that focuses on parent education and child development for parents of children 0-3 years old. Recognizing the fact that parents are their children's first and most influential teachers, First Taste is designed to provide support and practical information to parents through home visits, group meetings and periodic screenings. The program also includes the services of a social worker who helps parents obtain needed services by referring them to proper area agencies. Established in 1989, the program is free of charge to families living in Kankakee School District 111. Home is where the start is, and that start must be a positive one. For more information, call 779-701-1759.
Jumpstart is a free, home visiting program through Easterseals Joliet Region.
